What you will be doing

The Senior Sales and Applied Technology Manager will be responsibilities for managing North American customer accounts during the different business cycle stages for both commercial and technical (Applied Technology) ensuring business development and the support for existing businesses in North America for achieving the global budget plan targets.

  • Develop and strengthen Umicore’s position in the North American and global markets
  • Sales Responsibilities for NA accounts:
    • All facets of customer program project management.
    • Budget and strategy planning and reporting
    • Market and competitor monitoring
  • Applied Technology responsibilities for North America Accounts.
    • Technical customer development project support
    • Instance management Check list 1 & PPAP’s for North America accounts
  • Business Development responsibilities for North America Account
    • Market and technology development, scouting, and monitoring
  • Global internal project support
    • Collaborate with Umicore team members in global internal projects.

 

Who we are looking for

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree in Business, engineering, and/or chemistry
  • Professional experience in Fuel Cell or MEA applications and business/marketing mandatory.
  • Deep understanding of the commercial/technical, operational and financial elements of business and in automotive supply industry standards are required.
  • Project management skills
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience of which at least 3 years are within Fuell Cell or MEA application/supplier industry.
