What you will be doing
Safe guards premises against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry - enforces all security rules
Performs opening/closing duties
Oversees/checks and logs all movement of precious metals and sundry items in and out of building.
Conducts employee searches with metal detection equipment
Maintains and oversees all security logs
Monitors CCTV and patrols building for security and safety breaches
Assist with delivery and pick ups of precious metal orders
Assist with checking delivery status on previously shipped packages
Administers First Aid when required
Who we are looking for
- High School diploma required, Two year law and security College Diploma preferred
- 2 year Security officer experience
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- High integrity
- Work independantly
- Communicate skills in English
- Work well under pressure
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Take instruction well
- Police check required
